Learn about Composition and Exposure.  Understand f-stops, ISO and speed. Learn some basic camera functions.

This photography workshop has a classroom session from 830-11am and field session is from 12-4pm at Mt Evans, Colorado.  (registration will close 7 days before each scheduled class date)

Required: DSLR camera, camera manual, tripod.  Zoom/telephoto lens is best, but any lens will do.

We will be driving up Mt Evans road, stopping at a couple of planned spots to coax out some Marmots and Pika.  We will continue to the top of the mountain and stop anytime we see some wildlife.  Hopefully we will see the famous Mt Evans Mountain Goats and some Bighorn Sheep.

There is some trail walking involved and is rocky in places with moderate activity.  You should be prepared with pants and good walking or hiking shoes.  This mountain is a 14er so bring a jacket as the weather at the bottom and the top can differ greatly.

This is a much higher elevation then most people are accustomed to, so please read over the High-Altitude paper that will be sent in your workshop information.

Pack your own bag lunch as we eat while on the mountain.  There are a few places on the mountain that provide restrooms but not food and water, so bring plenty of water and any snacks to much along the way.

Class will be canceled in truly inclement weather

A signed waiver will be required for all students. This business carries auto and liability insurance.

There is no guarantee that you will see the Mountain Goats or Big Horn Sheep
